OUR STORY

Laura Lou's Cheesecake Co is a new start up from an old idea. 
I remember baking as a child with my grandmother and having such sweet moments that sealed the deal for the love I have for baking. I continued that love throughout the years raising my four children while baking from home. When I moved to Oregon I was diagnosed with cancer and after that fight I went to culinary school to finally fulfill my dream of baking professionally. Once out of school i worked as a pastry chef in a few upscale restaurants in Portland and in the Bay Area. I catered to smalls business and coffee shops. I moved back to the bay area once my children started having children and I started my catering bakery in Concord CA which took off and became a mini success. Fast forward a couple years and now after 2020 and all the challenges the first half of the year brought everyone, I made the decision to move back to Oregon and start my business in Lafayette with my daughters who have the same passion and dedication as I do for baking. I am excited about this new adventure here in the Pacific Northwest.
