Laura Lou’s Cheesecake Company is more than a bakery, it’s the realization of a lifelong dream built on resilience, passion, and family.
Owner Laura discovered her love for baking at a young age, spending countless hours in the kitchen creating cherished memories with her grandmother. After overcoming cancer, she decided to pursue her dream professionally by attending culinary school, determined to turn her passion into a career.
Laura went on to become an Executive Pastry Chef, working in renowned restaurants throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, Portland, and beyond, where she refined her craft and developed a true passion for creating exceptional cheesecakes and handcrafted desserts. Every recipe reflects years of experience, creativity, and dedication to quality.
Our journey has taken us from Concord, California, to Oregon, and now back home to California, where we’re excited to begin this next chapter. Today, Laura Lou’s Cheesecake Company operates as a family-owned cottage bakery, proudly serving customers with handcrafted desserts made from scratch.
As we continue to grow, we’re thrilled to be working toward opening our first brick-and-mortar bakery, coming soon. Along the way, you’ll find us at local farmers markets, community events, and delivering our cheesecakes throughout the Bay Area and Sacramento.
